Our Philosophy

From an ancient promise,
a modern cultivation.

Sword to Plow is a luxury vegetable farm rooted in the conviction that the land rewards those who approach it with patience, craft, and reverence. We grow rare and heirloom varieties using time-honoured methods — not because it is easy, but because what emerges from that discipline is extraordinary.

Every head of radicchio, every truss of tomatoes, every bunch of rainbow chard that leaves this farm has been coaxed from soil we know intimately, tended by hands that care. This is not commodity agriculture. This is an art form.

The Land

Small acreage.
Immense care.

We farm a deliberately small footprint. Every bed is designed, every variety selected with purpose. The result is an intensity of flavour that industrial scale simply cannot produce.

Our soils are amended through years of cover cropping, compost, and respect — a living system rather than a substrate for synthetic chemistry.

Farm Tourism

Come and
taste the field.

We invite a small number of guests each season to experience the farm as we know it — walking rows at golden hour, dining beneath open sky, and understanding what it means when the land gives freely.

Our experiences are curated, limited, and entirely unhurried. There is no agenda except the one the farm itself sets.
